NDVI rates after the coronavirus outbreak

The health of one of the planet's most important producers -green plants- has increased a bit. The NDVI stands for Normalized Difference Vegetation Index which is the greenness of landscapes on earth and it indicates the health of the plants and as the index increases. It has no measuring unit but ranged from -0.1 to 0.9, where the areas with more than 0.4 are healthy and green, while those with less than 0.4  have little green areas. Over the past few months, there has been a slight increase in the NDVI all over the earth. Due to the decrease in human activities.

This table shows the difference in the in the greenness of the landscapes all over the world and shows a slight increase in the NDVI scale of many parts in the world. this is one of the positive impacts of the coronavirus on the environment.
